Friday Five 12/13/19

Hello friends! Happy Friday!

I have been so busy lately and therefore absent from the blog. I am trying to get back into the habit of blogging so I am coming at you with a Friday Five today.

This past week was pretty exciting. On Monday, I was invited to do a segment on my local TV station. More on that here.

The rest of the week was spent catching up on studying, housework, some Christmas shopping and packing for my trip to Disney World.

Next week my husband and I are doing a short trip to Disney and I am so excited. The last time we were in Disney was for our honeymoon back in 2016. There are so many new things to see and do there so it will be a fun little getaway.

Now on to my Friday Five!

1. The Imagineering Story

This documentary style show airs on Disney+ and we are obsessed. Even my husband, who hates documentaries and likes Disney but isn't a superfan, is enthralled in this every week. It tells the story of the Disney Imagineers who dream up the Disney magic and create the technology that makes it happen. It starts all the way back with Disneyland and goes up to the present. If you are a Disney fan, you will be obsessed with this.

2. Fuller House new season

Call it nostalgia, but I LOVE Fuller House. It is all that made Full House so beloved and then some. The first part of the new season was just released and it is so good. We binged through it in just a few days. If you have not, check it out on Netflix!

3. Cook Once, Eat All Week

I follow Cassy on Instagram and I finally snagged her cookbook on Amazon. I have not tried out any recipes yet but I love the concept of cooking once for the week when life gets crazy busy. Her recipes are also Gluten Free which is a HUGE win for my household. I think this would make a great gift for a busy person or someone starting out with gluten free cooking. I can't wait to delve in.

4. Sketchers Cleo Knit Flats

You know those Rothy's shoes you see everywhere? Yeah, these are those but way cheaper. They are so soft and comfy with a classic flat appearance. AND they are machine washable! I am pretty obsessed with these and I think I might get another color.

5. Chic Bookbag from Target
Buy it here!

I snagged this cutie on clearance at my local Target for just $8.98. It is marked down to $20 on the website and I think it is worth every penny. It is stylish and chic while also being super functional. There is tons of space, a laptop sleeve, inside and outside pockets and it all comes in a sleek black package with pretty gold details. I already have mine packed for our upcoming Disney trip. A great closet staple that you are sure to get lots of use out of!
