About me

Hello friends!

Whether you happened upon this blog randomly or have come to seek out something in particular, I want to introduce myself. My name is Brandy and I am a 25-year-old recent law school graduate from a small midwestern town surrounded by cornfields. In undergrad, I majored in History and Pre-Law as well as multi-tasking, coffee drinking, and memory making. I live in Northern Ohio and I hope to become a Criminal Prosecutor after passing the bar.

I grew up on my parent's horse farm practically on the back of a horse. I have shown horses all my life and they are one of the biggest defining factors of my life as well as my greatest passion. This is my horse Charlie and he is practically perfect in every way.

Outside of horses, my life revolves around my family, friends, and Husband.

On July 16, 2016, I became a wife and it is happily ever after with the man of my dreams. Newlywed life is pretty great.

We have three puppies, Garth, a blue merle Aussie who thinks he is a child, Grace, the happiest Golden Retriever ever, and Annie, our precious mutt. They make our life both hectic and wonderful.

If you wish to know more about me, you can follow me over on my new blog, The Stylish Homestead.

  1. Great blog here Brandy. But before I can commit to reading any further, I need to know whether you think the Kiera Knightly 2005 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice or the 1995 Colin Firth BBC miniseries is the superior version? Think long and hard before you answer! One reader hangs in the balance! :)

    1. Hello! Thanks for reading. I do prefer the Kiera Knightly version.... while they are both fantastic the soundtrack and cinematography of the 2005 adaptation just push it over the edge for me. However, if I'm being honest, I would rather read the book all day long.
