Friday Five 4/6/19

Well, it's been a while since I have done this. Life has finally slowed down a touch... just in time for final exams. I have 2 weeks of class left in my entire academic career which is CRAZY. This week has been full of classes, catching up and starting my exam prep. I have also been trying to enjoy the nicer weather and spend time with my husband and pups. Here are some snaps from my week:

1. The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown 

This is the April book club pick and I am LOVING it so far. I got the audiobook from the Libby app and I have been listening while driving, cooking, cleaning, getting ready in the morning... pretty much any spare few minutes. It is the story of the 1936 USA Rowing team (made up of a group of college boys) who took the Gold Medal in the Berlin Olympics.


2. Aquaman 

My husband and I watched this earlier this week and I will say I was underwhelmed. It was entertaining and had good moments but overall, I was not dying to see it again.

3. Carpool Karaoke
This is seriously the best thing ever. I laughed so hard.

4. The Hot Zone 

The Hot Zone by Richard Preston is one of my top 5 favorite books of all time. They are FINALLY making an adaptation of it for TV and it comes out May 27th. I absolutely cannot wait!!! The trailer looks SO good.

5. joy Shave 

I purchased this razor this week because shorts weather is coming and it is SO good. Super reasonable price and works SO well.
