It's finally Friday- YAY! What a week... I got a yucky cold, it has been raining every single day and I feel like all I did was outline property. However, there were some bright spots; one of my best friends got engaged and I got to put together the cutest little engagement gift box to send off to her. I also picked out a gift for an upcoming wedding we are attending and it was too fun. I love gifting- it is fun to take the time to piece together something you know that person will love and use and knowing the smile it will bring to their face. I love it!Law school finals are growing ever closer... as is my internship. On top of all the studying and outlining, I am starting to freak out about my internship and if I have enough "dress up" clothes.... I keep begging my hubby to take me shopping.
This weekend is my nephew's first birthday party and we will be going to our hometown and meeting up with some old friends so it should be a good weekend.
Here's what I have been into this week:
1. BOGO Shoes at Target
I was dying for some new summer sandals and this deal was too good to pass up!! I bought these and these.... and these. Ready for summer!!!!
2. Five Came Back
This documentary just came out on Netflix and it was fantastic. It discusses the Hollywood directors who made propaganda films during WW2; often putting themselves in extreme danger to get the footage. Very eye opening!
3. RTIC Tumblr
I have seen everyone and their brother carrying these and I finally broke down and ordered one off Amazon for myself. It is amazing- my drink stays hot or cold forever! and it holds so much liquid! It is so great for long classes in law school. I also ordered a little monogram from etsy to put on it to make it cute :)
4. New Makeup
I was getting low so I ordered a massive amount of new makeup today. I can't wait to try it all out and keep working toward improving my makeup and skin care brands to more natural and better for my skin. I finally found the perfect selection of skin care and my skin is looking the best it is has looked in years- now time to get the makeup on track! Ulta has been having some amazing sales and deals!
5. HGTV Home Town
I am obsessed with HGTV in general and this new show is adorable. I am obsessed with Erin and Ben and Laurel, MS. They style so wonderfully for the homeowners and I love what they are doing to save their town.
